‘Diffusion notice’ issued against GB Rai

KATHMANDU: Diffusion notice has been issued against GB (Gitendrababu) Rai, Chairman of Suryadarshan Savings and Loan Cooperative.

According to the police, a diffusion notice was issued against Rai on Friday. According to the Interpol branch of the police headquarters, a diffusion notice was issued on Friday because the district police office Kaski had written to the police head office Naxal asking for the issuance of a diffusion notice against Rai.

With the release of the diffusion notice, the 196 member states of Interpol will begin the process of searching for him and returning him to Nepal when found. A dozen people including GB Rai are absconding in the case of misappropriation of cooperative funds.
