Meeting of Indian Foreign Minister Jayashankar with President Poudel, discussion on climate change

Kathmandu: India’s Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar had a courtesy meeting with President Ramchandra Paudel.

Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar reached Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas on Thursday morning and held a courtesy call on President Paudel. Jayashankar came to Kathmandu on Thursday morning to participate in the meeting of the Nepal-India Foreign Minister-level Joint Commission.

On the occasion of the meeting, President Paudel emphasized the need for cooperation and cooperation between Nepal and India in connectivity, mitigation of climate change effects and development of hydropower.

According to the President’s Press Adviser Kiran Pokharel, President Paudel emphasized that it is necessary to work together seriously as the topic of saving mountains and water resources is a common agenda.

On that occasion, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar said that India is aware of Nepal’s prospects and mentioned that India will continue to cooperate in all fields.
