Kathmandu. Due to the lack of direct access to the Nepali embassy in Iraq, which has been banned by the Nepalese government, more than 800 Nepali workers have become passportless due to lack of passport renewal.

According to the new law of the passport department, after the MRP passport was canceled and the electronic passport was implemented, thousands of Nepalis in restricted countries like Iraq have faced problems in renewing their passports due to lack of access to embassies. As the problem of passport renewal is increasing, a letter has been sent to the government with attention.
